Registration for the 2016 Fall Semester and Terms 1 and 2 is now underway for BENG/OMGT 5633 (Linkages among Technology, Economics and Societal Values) and BENG 5613 (Simulation Modeling of Biological Systems).
Registration is currently underway for BENG/OMGT 5633 and BENG 5613. Enrollment is limited for both courses so I suggest that you register as soon as possible to guarantee admission.
Please note the following about BENG/OMGT 5633:
- BENG 5633 and OMGT 5633 are cross-listed in terms of content.
- BENG 5633, however, is offered as both a full semester course and in an eight-week Term format.
- In terms of Blackboard, students enrolled in the Fall semester version of BENG 5633 are merged with students enrolled in the Term 1 versions of BENG 5633 and OMGT 5633 for purposes of certain assignments that involve extensive class interactions (Blog topics, Current Event analysis, and using a spreadsheet simulation model to examine shifts in societal values).
- The balance between the number full semester and Term 1 students varies considerably, but the combined enrollment is usually limited to around 15 students.
- While certainly not a guarantee for the future, BENG/OMGT 5633 has been offered for many years in both the Fall and Spring Semesters as well as in Terms 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Other details about each course are presented in this website. However, certainly feel free to contact me by email (ojl@uark.edu) or phone (479-409-8182) if you have additional questions!
